This is a black and white photo of the Cape May Lighthouse. Known to locals as Cape May Light, it is located in southern New Jersey in Cape May Point State Park. The lighthouse is at the very tip of South Jersey and serves as a beacon to incoming ships. This photo was taken in winter, and the lighthouse can be seen through the bare branches of trees in the foreground.

How interesting to see a lighthouse in black and white! We almost always view it in color so we can see the usual white and reds. Here, my eyes are drawn not to the lighthouse, but to the leafless trees in front. For once, the lighthouse is the background, not the star! Congratulations on your well deserved group features!
